Dr. Paige Fenton Hughes has held leadership roles across Wyoming and South Dakota, serving as superintendent in three school districts, Interim Executive Director of the Wyoming Community College Commission, and coordinator for the Wyoming State Board of Education.

Her diverse educational background also includes experience as an English teacher, coach, counselor, principal, athletic director, and assistant superintendent. She has also worked as a district coach for the Wyoming Department of Education and consulted with school districts on strategic planning, curriculum alignment, systems development, and process management.

Dr. Fenton Hughes has led and participated in school and system accreditation teams both nationally and internationally. She has presented at state, regional, and national conferences on a wide range of educational topics.

She holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of South Dakota, a principal’s endorsement from the University of Montana, a master’s degree in School Counseling from Montana State University–Billings, and dual bachelor’s degrees in English and History/Political Science from Rocky Mountain College.
