Contracted 2Rev Coach

About 2Revolutions

Founded in 2008, 2Revolutions (2Rev) is a national education design lab that builds communities’ capacity to design and implement equitable and innovative learning systems. We work in K12 and Higher Ed with school, district/community and state partners to help build readiness and capacity to transform toward more equitable, learner-centered schools and systems.  2Rev focuses on helping partner districts/communities take two essential steps toward the future:

  • DEFINE STUDENT SUCCESS - via inclusive, participatory design process, so each community is clear what learners need to know and be able to do to be successful - this is your “North Star.” In deeper partnerships, this includes defining educator and leader competencies, which are essential to realizing your vision for learners; and

  • BUILD ADULT CAPACITY - via facilitated, topical communities of practice, so teachers and leaders (and others) are supported to collaboratively develop the new knowledge, skills and mindsets they need to support learners.  We focus where we have the deepest strength: instruction, assessment, equity and leadership.  We continue to link adult learning to graduate credit and credentials where possible, and to partner with universities to build innovative graduate programs.

Simply put, we work with the adults across our education system(s) to encourage them to think differently about the structures, culture and practices needed to promote and sustain cutting edge learning. 2Rev has successfully led 450+ unique design engagements with partners across more than 40 states.
