Mary Wooden-Green | 2Rev Coach

Mary is a Math Instructional Coach for the District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS). She currently works with Kindergarten through fifth-grade teachers at Cleveland Elementary; and leads Intervention/Enrichment groups for 1st, 4th, and 5th-grade students. In addition to her current position supporting math teachers in their work, Mary is a member of the Instructional Leadership Team, providing feedback and ideas that help move the school towards their Comprehensive School Plan.

For 16 years, Mary has been an educator with DCPS, 15 of which have been spent at Cleveland Elementary. She received her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix and her Bachelor’s Degree from Southeastern University in Public Administration. Mary is also a proud Leading Educators Fellow. Participating in the Leading Educators Fellowship has afforded Mrs. Green the opportunity to engage with many educators and visit numerous schools across the country. This learning opportunity exposed her to many awesome and innovative ways to educate and revamp her teaching style.

Mary is a firm believer that learning is a lifelong experience and continues to seek opportunities to grow, not just as an educator but also as a human being.
