Lisa Lovato | 2Rev Coach

Lisa is currently a Personalized Learning and Innovation Specialist in the Mesquite Independent School District. She has substantial experience in elementary education and personalized learning. She spent seven years as a teacher, three years as an Assistant Principal, and eight years as a Principal in Dallas ISD. In 2016, she was recognized as the Elementary Principal of the Year in Dallas ISD out of 150 elementary principals. In 2018, she was ranked #1 in Master Principal designation with Dallas ISD based on achievement, participation in extracurricular activities, student, staff, and parent surveys. In 2019, she transitioned to Mesquite ISD to assist in redesigning their learning model. Lisa has devoted time developing her capacity to transform education by participating in various programs and designing school models that include: Social Emotional Learning Award, Teaching Trust Program for Teams, Personalized Learning Cohort in Dallas ISD, Next Generation Learning Challenges Grant, Raise Your Hand Texas Harvard Cohort-Art of Leadership, Principal Impact Collaborative and Buck Institute Project Based Learning. She is working on her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies. She is researching best practices for taking innovation to scale in school districts and participates in the TEA Superintendent Certification Program.
