As an organization, it is critical to raise awareness and ultimately build knowledge, skills and mindsets in our teacher, building and systems leaders. In partnership with an array of national leaders, 2Rev has developed face-to-face, blended and virtual learning opportunities. We work to support learning in our Schools and Systems partnerships, as well as offering unique learning opportunities for cohorts by course, stack of courses and full graduate degree programs.

Learn Next: 2Rev, with generous support from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, has partnered with national leaders to create Learn Next: A Toolbox to Transform Practice. This is a field-wide effort to create free & open educator facing learning experiences to accelerate the transition to future of learning instruction and assessment practices. We are learning about the power of collective impact on broader field, value of online content in facilitated and non-facilitated contexts to impact educator learning and transference to practice.

SNHU: In partnership with Southern New Hampshire University, 2Rev is co-designing and co-managing a new MEd/CAGS in Competency Based Education (CBE). This program builds a district’s ability to successfully develop knowledge and skills to accelerate district transformation in 18 months through learning within a district (minimum of 10 participants/district) and across districts (5-7 districts in a cohort/ state). Learning in the Program models a competency-based learning experience and covers competency-based content through a combination of asynchronous online and synchronous virtual and in-person learning experiences. The Program includes three stackable blocks that build on one another in a sequence that moves from complexity to greater complexity, from the classroom to facilitating educator learning to leading at the building and system level. Each block has a defined set of competencies that participants earn after self-assessing their Knowledge, Skills and Mindsets, then availing themselves of various coursework. Regular tutorials provide synchronous check-ins and teams are tasked to work on one individual and one collaborative effort to promote applied shifts leading toward Competency-Based Learning. This work meets a significant need field-wide and has launched with New Hampshire cohorts, and is planning Vermont, Iowa, Kentucky and Michigan cohorts later in 2019.
