Darry Strickland | Design Manager
Darry is an educator whose career spans over two decades of passionate advocacy for educational equity. During his career he has served as teacher, curriculum writer, professional developer, and high school administrator. In his role as design manager at 2Rev, Darry helps support and lead educators and administrators in rethinking education and how to meet the needs of all students.
Most recently, Darry founded an educational consulting firm called ResolvED which worked with “turnaround schools” in districts across the country to redesign their instructional and cultural outcomes in order to have a positive effect on student achievement. The foundation of this work was rooted in user-centered design, performance assessment, and personalization
Darry received a Bachelors of Arts in History from Davidson College and a Masters of Educational Administration from Trinity University. He participated in both Teach for America in Washington D.C. and New Leaders for New Schools in Washington D.C.
When not working with school leaders and teachers, Darry enjoys playing blitz chess, coaching basketball, and poetry. Darry is a Cave Canem Fellow. The Cave Canem Foundation is home for the many voices of African American poetry and is committed to cultivating the artistic and professional growth of African American poets.
